For one of my classes, I have to create a story and illustrate it with character concepts and scenes. Here is my first scene. I used pastels on black paper, unfortunately I had a limited color choice... but you get the gist. The story is about a boy who encounters the Loch Ness monster. The monster is subject to change.
You should take this into photoshop now, and paint over/under it....so you can keep your awesome textures but amp up the contrast/light source.
